Summary

Insite Cladding & Roofing recently completed a critical, time-sensitive roof replacement at Cappielow Park, home of Greenock Morton Football Club. Following severe storm damage to the iconic 'Cowshed' Stand, the team was tasked with urgently restoring the structure's integrity to guarantee fan safety and minimise operational disruption.

Led by Operations Director Morgan Baker alongside Ian Clint, Douglas Rooney, and Hugh Wilson, the team safely executed the complex removal of the compromised roof and installed a robust, high-performance new covering. This seamless delivery was driven by strong collaboration with the club’s Paul Farren and expert consultation from James Combe of Brawdia.

Supported by essential access and safety infrastructure provided by Clyde Scaffold and Marshalls Scaffold, the team successfully restored the historic stand strictly on schedule. The resilient new roof preserves a cherished piece of Scottish football heritage, ensuring the stand remains secure and fully operational for supporters for years to come.
