Summary

Insite Contracts recently acted as Principal Contractor for the high-specification fit-out of Savills' new 10,000 sq. ft. headquarters on the 5th floor of Cadworks, Glasgow. Located within Scotland’s first net-zero carbon office development, the prestigious project required a seamless balance of striking aesthetics and modern, high-performance sustainability standards.

Led by David Stewart, Fraser Stevenson, Brian Laidlaw, and Guy Melville, the comprehensive scope included a complete mechanical and electrical (M&E) overhaul, alongside the installation of new flooring, specialist ducting, and acoustic sound barriers to ensure a highly productive, serene environment. To complete the cutting-edge architectural design, the team also managed the integration of bespoke soft furnishings and high-quality finishing touches.

Working closely with Claire Ryan at Savills and Stuart Carberry at CBA Chartered Quantity Surveyors, the project was defined by a highly collaborative and solutions-focused approach. Supported by trusted specialist partners Saxen, Campbells, and Versatile, the team successfully handed over a modern, innovative workspace in the heart of Glasgow's financial district, earning high praise from the client for a flawless delivery.
