Infection Prevention Society Conference 2021

Infection Prevention Society Conference 2021 was held in Liverpool at the ACC for the first time since 2019 following a challenging time for the Infection Prevention Teams around the world due the Pandemic. 350 Infection Prevention Professionals, including our very own Global Business Director Steven Lardner, came together to share their experiences, to learn and also to view old and new innovative technologies and those introduced during the Pandemic to improve protection levels in facilities.

Insite Specialist Services attended on stand 21 shared with our partners from SleepAngel Medical Barrier Bedding, Kleenedge Curtain Protocol and to exhibit our very own proprietary products Biotouch Long Life Antimicrobial Coating, PB2012 Highly effective and safe on skin disinfectant, ZeopSpill natural spill kits and last but not least our extensive range of Air Purification units for any indoor environment.

Our team were delighted to engage in many discussions about our commitment to ‘Continuous Infection Prevention of the Air and All Hard and Soft surfaces’ and on the subject of where a Healthcare Facility can engage with our systems throughout the entire building.

We were also very excited to engage with fellow industry experts including Paul Musgrove from Marlux Medical Ltd, Ian Strangward from Architectural Wallsz Ltd with his innovative HealthCare Isolation Pods and Jane Kent Product Manager at Sodexo UK.

Our continued partnership with SleepAngel Medical Barrier bedding where we offer external material antimicrobial continuous protection on their medical soft surfaces was also a subject of discussion with Ecolab the Global Leaders in Infection Prevention solutions including Simon Ellison Ecolab Technical Product Leader and Howard Wilkinson Strategic Initiatives Leader Europe. Developing innovation such as ‘BioTouch Protected’ for Hard and Soft surfaces globally continues of offer continuous 24/7 protection against HealthCare Acquired Infections.

In summary, it’s been a fabulous show to attend and thanks go to the Infection Prevention Society and to Paul Harrison and his team at Fitwise for organising the event.
