Exciting first look at a significant project underway by our Contracts Division! 🚀

Here's a quick glimpse of the start of the Strip-out and Refurbishment of the beloved St Andrews Picture House in St Andrews with this insightful fly-through video, captured by our very own Gerry Campbell.

This marks the beginning of an exciting journey to revitalise this iconic local landmark. The initial stages of this project are being expertly guided by George Finlay, Gordon Scott, Dean McNab and Darren bunce, with crucial support from john gallagher at Savills.

We're thrilled to embark on this transformation!

Project Completion Announcement – Exchange Crescent, Edinburgh 🏗️

We’re proud to share the successful completion of the 5th Floor Refurbishment at Exchange Crescent, Edinburgh – a 32,500 sq ft commercial fit-out delivered by our Contracts division for our client Savills.

This landmark refurbishment was led by David Stewart, Brian Laidlaw, and Guy Melville, supported by David Cowan MIWFM at Savills, is a shining example of our team's expertise in high-spec, large-scale commercial construction services.

Scope of Works Included:

- Full strip-out of the previous tenant fit-out including M&E systems
- Installation of new FCUs with LTHW & CHW modifications tied into BMS
- Alterations to secondary ventilation
- Overhaul and repair of all existing windows
- Installation of new ceilings: mix of Gyproc and SAS system tiles for a seamless finish
- Commissioned lighting upgrades aligned with building’s management system
- Fire compartmentation improvements: fire stopping, blankets, and BM Trada-certified fire doors – installed and inspected by Insite Group
- Replacement of ~30% raised access floor tiles
- Deep floor cleaning to remove adhesives and prep for new tenant
- Full decoration across ceilings, walls, and woodwork
